Responsibilities:

  • Draft precise legal memorandums and pleadings, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Interact with IRS agents and officers, representing clients during disputes and negotiations.
  • Network Building: Cultivate relationships with referral sources and fellow attorneys in the community.
  • Deadline Management: Thrive under pressure by meeting critical deadlines.
  • Client Communication: Articulate and confident, you’ll guide clients through tax-related matters.
  • Research and Writing: Your legal research and writing skills will shine, especially in tax-related contexts.
  • Collaborate with the managing attorney across all aspects of tax law.

Requirements:

  • Texas Bar License A must-have for practicing law in the Lone Star State.
  • A minimum of 2 years in tax law (previous employment or tax clinic participation).

Preferred (but not required):

  • LL.M. in Taxation: Elevate your expertise.
  • Accounting Undergraduate Degree: A bonus.
  • CPA License: Adds extra flair to your toolkit.
